£46,000 compensation for woman in Ellesmere Port car accident
A woman from Ellesmere Port who was involved in a collision with another vehicle has been awarded compensation for her injuries. Camps Solicitors were able to act for the woman in her claim for damages caused by her injuries and loss of employment.
Mrs M was driving her vehicle, a Volkswagen Polo near her home in Ellesmere Port when another motorist, driving a BMW 520i, turned across her path. The BMW then collided with the front offside of Mrs M’s vehicle, forcing both vehicles off the road and on to the pavement. Camps Solicitors were able to arrange the hire of a like-for-like replacement vehicle whilst Mrs M’s was off the road.
Following the accident Mrs M experienced whiplash type injuries to her neck and back, she underwent a course of physiotherapy at Clatterbridge Hospital as well as a course of acupuncture. As a result of her ongoing symptoms she was forced to leave her job as a waitress as it was becoming too physically demanding.
The case was handled by Camps Solicitors solicitor Ged Jones who had this to say: “My client was the victim of a road traffic accident, which through no fault of her own left her with injuries meaning she was unable to return to work. Fortunately, I was able to recover compensation for her injuries, her lost wages and the cost of a hire replacement vehicle.”
