Surrey motorist gets help from Birkenhead Solicitors after car accident in driveway

After a recent car accident in which another motorist hit his Porsche Boxster sports car, Mr B contacted Camps Solicitors who took on his claim for compensation. The accident took place in the driveway of Mr. B’s home in Weybourne, Surrey. At the time of the accident Mr. B was in his car, and the other party drove his Suzuki Jeep into the side of the Porsche. Mr B’s car suffered extensive damage and he required a like for like hire vehicle whilst his own vehicle was in repair.

The team at Camps Solicitors were able to secure for Mr. B compensation in the region of 7,250 pounds. If he had gone through his insurance company, it would be highly unlikely that he would have been able to obtain like for like hire, or any compensation for the diminution in value of his car caused by the repairs, which is usually around 5-10% of the pre accident value of the vehicle.

My client was justified in hiring an equivalent sports car as he had incurred the cost of running one prior to the accident. It was therefore important that he received the compensation to which he was entitled.”
