Woman from Birkenhead in car accident secures £11,250 compensation
A woman from Birkenhead on the Wirral has been awarded compensation as a result of a road traffic accident in nearby New Brighton. A solicitor from Camps Solicitors, specialists in Road Traffic accidents and personal injury cases, handled her case.
The accident occurred when Mrs M was driving her Peugeot 307 along Grosvenor Road, New Brighton. The at fault driver pulled out from Molyneux Drive, into the path of her vehicle, ignoring the give way sign placed at the junction of these roads.
As a result of the accident, she suffered soft tissue injuries to her lower back, right arm and right leg; an added blow was that as a result of the accident her vehicle was written off as uneconomical to repair. The case went to trial and she was awarded a total of £11,250 compensation for her injuries and the damage to her vehicle.
Speaking about the case, Camps Solicitors and road traffic accident specialist Ged Jones had this to say: “In this case, through no fault of her own, my client suffered the double blow of the loss of a vehicle and injury to herself. I am therefore pleased that we were able to recover the compensation to which she was entitled.”
