£16,000 Compensation recovered for motorist hit by uninsured driver
A man from Bradford has secured substantial compensation following a road traffic accident on Great Horton Road in Bradford. Personal injuries and road traffic accident specialists Camps Solicitors were able to act to secure this compensation.
The accident was caused when a 3 rd party driver attempted to make a right hand turn manoeuvre across the path of Mr W’s vehicle, when it was unsafe to do so. As a result of the road traffic accident he suffered a laceration to the head requiring 10 stitches as well as slight scaring injuries on his wrist and whiplash to his neck and back.
Camps Solicitors arranged for his vehicle to be recovered and for a prompt engineers inspection. A like-for-like hire vehicle was provided as Mr W’s vehicle was deemed to be a total loss. The 3 rd party insurers admitted liability and we were able to recover nearly £16000 including £9200 for his injuries and nearly £7000 for the pre accident value of his car.
Jodie Hudson, from Camps Solicitors said: “In cases involving significant injuries and total loss of the clients vehicle, it is important that people receive the compensation they rightly deserve. I am pleased that our clients case has been settled successfully and that he made a full recovery.”
